National Civics Bee – Local Competition

The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the National Civics Bee – Local Competition. This exciting event will showcase twenty talented middle school students competing in a live, interactive competition to test their knowledge of civics and government.
 
The National Civics Bee, presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, aims to inspire middle school students to become active and engaged citizens by deepening their understanding of our government, democracy, and civic responsibility. The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this event as part of a nationwide effort to strengthen civic education and encourage youth participation in public affairs.
 
By attending, you’ll witness the next generation of civic leaders in action and celebrate the importance of informed and engaged citizenship. Let’s rally behind our local students as they compete for a chance to advance to the state-level competition!
