Admission $6 for 12 & Older, $3 for ages 3-11, free for ages 2 and under

Wristbands will be sold from 12noon-4pm and honored until 5pm.
Wristbands will be sold for $20.00 per person.
No coupons will be honored for this ride special.
Regular Ticket prices after 5pm.

First Annual Brunswick Stew Brew

PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!
Open to Non-profit organizations only.
Entry fee of $25.00 per organization.
Groups may begin setting up at midnight on Thursday, October 4th.
The stew must be ready for judging by 10:00 AM Saturday morning.
The public will do the judging by popular taste test from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM , with the winner being announced at 2:00 PM.
The winner will be awarded $250 and a trophy.
All contestants are responsible for supplying tasting cups and spoons for the public.
All contestants must abide by Virginia Health Department guidelines.
Organizations may sell stew by the quart to the public if they wish.
Deadline for submitting applications is September 29th
Entry is limited to twelve contestants so call today to reserve your spot.

4H Dog Contest – 11:00
Dog lovers, grab your furry best friend and join the fun! Halifax County 4-H is sponsoring a dog contest at the Halifax County Fair, Saturday, October 6. The event is scheduled to be held in the exhibit hall at 11:00 a.m. If you are at least 9 years old and have a non-aggressive dog that is at least one year of age, you are encouraged to enter. This includes adults. Canines can compete in various
categories such as: Best Costume, Best Trick, Best Bark, Most Colors, Most Looks Like Owner, Tallest, Shortest, Longest Tail, Shortest Tail, Largest Paw, Smallest Paw, Ugliest, and Cutest. All dogs must show proof of rabies vaccination. Registration forms can be picked-up at the Halifax Co. VCE Office. Entry forms and rabies certificates must be completed and turned into the Halifax VCE Office no later than Thursday, October 4. The only fee for this event is a smile.

Free Throw Basketball Competition
Ages 12-17
Ages 18 & Over
5:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Cost $5 for $15 shots
This competition will be on a first come first serve basis.

GRAND PRIZE of $50 for each age group.
