Halifax County Board of Supervisors - Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Board of Supervisors of Halifax County, Virginia ("Board") will hold a public hearing on August 8, 2022, at 6: 30 PM., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Board Meeting Room, Number 201, of the Mary Bethune Complex, 1030 Cowford Road, Halifax, Virginia 24558, for the purpose of receiving public comments regarding proposed redistricting ordinance, Ordinance No. 2022-23, which would reapportion the representation in the Board among Halifax County's eight election districts, as required by the Virginia Constitution and the Virginia Code.
