Career & Technical Education (CTE) Showcase
The CTE Showcase will highlight CTE programs available through Halifax Co. Public Schools, Southern VA Higher Education Center, Danville Community College & Southside Virginia Community College. Tour CTE labs, meet instructors, & participate in hands-on demonstrations.
- Take a virtual tour of the NEW Halifax County High School
- Receive a FREE Parent’s Guide to empower you when making course selections for your student
- Get a first look at the new “Academy Approach” to the high school curriculum
- 4th & 5th Grade Parents & Students: Attend to learn more about the decisions you’ll need to make starting in middle school
- First 100 attendees receive a food truck voucher
- Meet with school counselors to get an early start on planning your child’s future
- Bring the Whole Family: Hands-on activities will be provided for younger children (3-8yrs)
