American Heroes Day

The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation (WBWF) hosts an annual American Hero event to provide a group of approximately 80+ veterans and active duty a day of outdoor fun and camaraderie. Activities include clay shooting, 3D archery, axe throwing, pistol shooting, dinner and prizes. On September 30th, 2023, the annual event will take place in Blackstone, Virginia at the WBWF Outreach Center property.
